What counts as free on Candy Shorts

People searching for “candy shorts free” or “candyshorts free” mean several different things, so precision helps. We counted 63 open series, and every one gives away its first two parts: 126 free episodes in all. The only differences between series are the length of the rest and its price.

All of this describes what we saw on candy.ai. We have no affiliation with Candy AI, and prices and access rules can change, so check the site before committing to anything.

Part 1: no account

Part 1 of any open series streams complete, with no sign-in: open the series page in a browser and press play. It is the part we watched for our scene logs, and the only one the rest of this site describes. If you only want to see how a series starts, you can stop here.

Part 2: a free account

Part 2 costs nothing too, but it sits behind a registration. A free account is all it takes, and no money changes hands. Once you’re in, it plays just like part 1. We haven’t viewed part 2 of any series, so what it contains is beyond what we can say.

Part 3 onward: tokens

From part 3 on, every episode spends tokens, and the rate depends on the series.

• 54 of the 63 open series are priced at 12 tokens per part.
• Nine are priced at 30 tokens per part: Our Host Is Riley Reid, Thanksgiving With My Best Friend’s Mom, My Wife’s Best Friend, Honeymoon With My Mother-in-Law, both Mia Malkova series, My Stepmom Sophie Dee Caught Me Changing, My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend’s Mom and My Step-Sister’s Dormitory.

Most series run to five parts, three of them paid, so finishing costs 36 tokens in 52 series and 90 in the nine at the higher rate. Two are far longer: Mona’s Worst Enemy has 15 parts (156 tokens to finish) and YES MA’AM has 35 (396 tokens). What a monthly token allowance covers is explained in the Premium guide.

The Spicy series are not free

Not a single Spicy series, 11 in all, offers a free part. Visitors who aren’t signed in see nothing of them; a free account gets only a locked list with the artwork blurred, and Premium is what clears the blur. See the Spicy page for details.

How long is a free episode?

Brief. First episodes range from 31 seconds, in Christmas With My Girlfriend’s Stepsister, up to 90 in Camp Rules, with most series near a minute. Under the Boss (88 seconds) and Kiss the Bride, Stepbro (83) are other long openers. Each clip stands alone, so you can sample several in one sitting.

Which free series do people watch first?

For 22-28 October, the most-searched individual series were:

1. Couples Therapy With Margot Vey, by a wide margin, with more than 4,400;
2. My Step-Sister’s Dormitory, about 1,060;
3. Lodge 69 Was Double Booked, about 970;
4. Every Wife on Candy Lane, about 810.

A sensible way to use the free parts

Since each open series gives away two parts, the free tier works well as a sampler. A routine that keeps the spending at zero:

1. Pick three or four series and watch part 1 of each. No sign-up is needed, and each clip is over in about a minute.
2. Decide which of them you would follow further, and only then register for part 2.
3. Before you open part 3, check how many parts the series has and what each costs. Five parts at 12 tokens is a modest outlay; 35 parts is not.

What free does not tell you

A free part is the opening of a story, and these openings are built to end on a hook. They show who the characters are and where the tension sits, and then they stop. That means two things. First, a clip that looks tame can sit at the start of a long paid run, and we have no view of what the paid parts show. Second, opening length tells you nothing about series length: Camp Rules opens with the longest first part we timed, yet runs to just five parts.

People often add “full” or a video site’s name to the search. Copies there did not come from Candy AI, and the legitimate meaning of “full episodes” is simply all the parts of a series on candy.ai.
